Piper didn't usually work on weekends, but she didn't mind this time. Much like yesterday, though, she had other very important things on her mind and was easily distracted.

Unfortunately spending Sunday hanging out with Parker and then jumping right into her new job in New Orleans on Monday and Tuesday meant that Isabel didn't have time to share her news with people. Town Hall was decorated with pink balloons and flowers. The tables had white cloths with pink and white centerpieces and party favors for all of the guests.

Off to one side was a table featuring the wedding cake that Piper had made. There was also a table for gifts and cards.

A portion of Yellow Brick Road was closed off near the park for a town party. There was a buffet table set up with all kinds of food courtesy of the Coven. There was also a stage set up for the entertainers who'd be performing off and on, as well as a DJ station.

Everyone was invited.

True, Sam's mood had improved over the past couple of weeks, but it was markedly better -- now that the World Series was over and he didn't have to think about pro baseball until spring, but he wouldn't tell you that. Sam was in a visibly, if not markedly, better mood today than he had been in a while; he was even whistling. (Whistling "Rubber Ducky, You're The One," of all things, which might have had something to do with the order of bath toys and infant bathing supplies he'd put in last night.)
